Exercise Blue Buffalo: Home
Exercise Blue Buffalo is the practical
application component of In the Service of Peace: Police in Modern
Peacekeeping (ITSOP). This version of Blue Buffalo is a Distributed,
Interactive, Collaborative learning environment that uses this web site to
conduct exercises set in the fictitious country of Fontinalis.
The aim of Exercise Blue Buffalo is to provide
ITSOP course members with the opportunity to apply their professional education
and experience in dealing with operational-level police problems characteristic
of peacekeeping operations.
Every student is expected to complete 3 on-line
exercises - one in the area of policing, one in the area of training, and
one in the area of monitoring. These exercises are offered at different times
during the calendar year.
